Welcome to the 2026 growing season!

Joy of Illinois Farm sells directly to the consumer and is located four miles west of Champaign, Illinois. Click on the colored words for further information.

ANIMALS AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS

We legally sell unprocessed, raw goat milk; free-range eggs; live Katahdin sheep, Saanen dairy goats, small black American Guinea Hogs, mixed-breed chickens, African geese, and Muscovy ducks.

For 30 years, most of our milk and egg sales have been through CSA-style shares, the backbone of our farm. Payment is made in late winter/spring for the whole year; share customers take priority.

Deposits are also received in late winter/spring to reserve live animals and poultry to be picked up later in the summer or fall.

Please email for availability and/or an order form for animals, egg shares, and milk shares. They cannot be ordered online.

ON-FARM STORE

Three years ago we opened a dedicated sales area in the garage. Husband Les will install the door to make it official—someday…Produce and organic whole wheat bread may be available—watch the farm email.

You are welcome to pull into the north driveway during open hours to pick up farm products. A small parking lot is available just inside the gate. Please don’t block in the red Toyota!

Quantities are finite; once we’re sold out we'll put you on our waiting list and/or try to refer you to another farm in our ever-widening network of small producers.

CLASSES AND EVENTS

Signup and payment for classes and events is online.

Opportunities are open to Do Morning Chores With Us or come for a Saturday Afternoon Farm Tour this summer or fall.

OVERNIGHT CAMP STAYS (BOONDOCKERS)

For years we’ve considered being a stop for travelers, and we are signing up with the Good Sam Overnight Stays program. Right now the plan is boondockers only—self-contained vehicles with no hookups, although we could provide water to fill a tank. We’ll give it a year’s trial.
